I think this project would also look cool with the letters 'F' and 'L' cut out as a segmentation and painted the 3 respective colors and then a small intarsia, segmented, or 1/4" over-lay of the football on the letter F , the basketball on the letter L, and the word RAIDERS cut out of 1/4" as an overlay placed along the bottom of the letter L.
