I do have that, and was somewhat disappointed.... It works, I intended to use it on my hand power sanders and such,  the problem I ran into is it is heavy and awkward when in use.. with the weight and the pull of the suction from the vac,, it was difficult to keep it attached... I had to hang on to the connection.... Also, the hose always seemed to be in the way... I have now cut mine and use a shorter piece to attach to my scroll saws... It is stationary when attached and works well for me there.

That was my experience.  When attached to a tool it did a good job collecting the dust... just awkward for me...

I don't have that system, but have the same problem.  My solution, that I found on You Tube, is to use short sections of PVC pipe to make adapters.  The basic idea is to find a size of pipe slightly smaller than the outlet on the tool, heat one end of the PVC till it is formable, then force it over the outlet and let it cool.  Then pipe fittings can be used, if necessary, to fit the adapter to the vacuum hose.  If desired, a pipe that is slightly too large can be squeezed to size with a band clamp.    I have made a number of these, and they work well.

My Metrovac uses 1 1/4" hose, which I find I can force fit into 1 1/4" PVC for an airtight fit.  I can also force it over 1" PVC if the 1 1/4" is too big for the tool.  I would rather use the 1 1/4" to not have a restriction in the air flow from the 1" pipe.  Your hose may be a different size, so find what works for you.

The reason I use these is that I am cheap.  These cost a lot less than the item from Rockler, and I can make them as needed.  I also don't have parts laying around that I won't use (have enough of that already).

I guess what I am really looking for is a piece of "rubber/silicon" that will fit on the end of the hose on my shop vac and then stretch/shrink to fit over the dust port on the particular piece of equipment.  I don't mind moving the shop vac around and what I do right now is stuff the end of the vacuum over/in the port, turn it on and hope for the best.  I figure some dust control is better than none!!

I saw this on youtube so i tried it. It worked and it is cheap.  Water bottles act like shrink wrap when heated.

I cut off top and bottom of water bottle. Put it over my cutoff saw suction fitting put the other side over shop vac end.  I heated up the cutoff saw section until it shrank tight.  Then lightly heated up side on shop vac.  Left if loose.  The suction will pull it tight to the saw.   The water bottle stays on the saw.

I purchased them as soon as they came out. I really like them. I use them on two different routers, two circular saws and replace the dust bags on two sanders. When I first got them you had to purchase a 'set'. now  they sell individual pieces...much better.

After seeing this idea, I had to go out and find a video. Here is what I found.
