Popular Post ben2008 Posted January 31, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted January 31, 2021 (edited) I have been working on this Intarsia Butterfly for about 2 weeks on and off...mostly off. I have 2 other projects going also. I hope to finish it this coming week. I forgot to add, it's a Judy Gale Roberts plan. Zoot Fenster Posted February 9, 2021 Report Posted February 9, 2021 Nicely done. The flower has a subtle depth that makes everything stand out. ben2008 1 Quote

planeur Posted February 14, 2021 Report Posted February 14, 2021 Beautiful Ben, like it very much! Kind of intarsia I like. The 3D effect is good. The color are also very good . Question : Ben I am curious to know, what is the thicknest , if you measure from the base where all part are glued. And what total size . planeur ben2008 1 Quote

And what total size . planeur planeur I used 3/4" wood for everything except the 10" Baltic Birch circle plywood. That is 1/8". The cedar backer is 3/4". The butterfly and flower are 3/4". The other small flowers started out 3/4" I made them smaller. The leaves started out at 3/4" inch I cut them down to 1/8". The top to bottom measurement is 14" and the width is 11". After cutting, shaping, and sanding nothing is it's original size. Hope this helps. Thanks for asking Ben Edited February 14, 2021 by ben2008 planeur 1 Quote
