Layered Pattern

Hi, I've looked at Alex Fox's Etsy page, but is there another pattern designer who sorta specializes in the layered style pattern? I saw a couple pieces maybe in one of these forums or a FB group that I'd like to give a try. I didn't see any in the pattern library using the search with keywords layer(ed), 3-d and shadow. Thanks for taking the time to read.

Did you check Steve Good's site. He has a few?  What where the patterns you are looking for??

If you put 'Layered Scrollsaw patterns' in your search engine it comes up with a fair few. Pinterest mainly.

What was the pattern your looking for. That may help in searching this. As for the library here, That has all been done by the villagers . I don't remember seeing one but I don't search the patterns too often.  Best of luck in your search.

Just did a couple of his for practice, thanks It was a fishing scene. It was the finished product I remember seeing.

It definately isn't an Alex Fox pattern, but I certainly plan on a few of his.

I was looking at this pattern also, there are 4 layers to it, what are the thicknesses of each layer and are all BB ply?

I believe Alex uses mostly 3mm mdf, being based in the Ukraine. I would use layers of 1/8" bb ply.

Hi imnew here, if you find out anything about how to do the shadow boxes I would love to know. I would love to also know and learn how to make my own using inkscape but I cant seem to find any tutorials on inkscape creating own designs for 3d light shadow boxes. I hope someone can also help me on this subject
