Pattern for a Sign

My daughter asked me to make a sign for her. It's a memorial  for a friend who died. I know very little about making patterns.

I have attache the photo she sent me.  Simple is better.

good day I was going to give this a try for you. Just a few questions. Do you want the pattern to be this size/shape? also can't really pick out the drawings, I can see there are dog paws just wondering more about what you would like done.
