bandsawn boxes

Just finished the first of a trio of boxes cut on the bandsaw. It is around 4" x 4" x 8" long made from 4 pieces of spalted Sycamore. Still need to get the inside of the drawers flocked but there are no kits to be found in the UK.

Nice work. I enjoyed making the bandsaw boxes I have done. I need to do some more.

Good looking box.  Like the spalted wood, also.  You could try putting felt in the box instead of flocking.  Just cut some cardboard inserts to fit the insides, then attach the felt to the cardboard and glue it in.

@jollyred, I have a sticky backed felt that I use on the bottom but I think the Suede Tex finish looks better inside the drawers I will wait and see what I can get.
