Popular Post Sparkey Posted September 28, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted September 28, 2021 I made my first cutting board. It is 11” wide, 21” long and 1.5” thick. It is made from maple and walnut and is end grain. It didn’t line up as well as I would have liked. I bought a planer since then and should have better results in the future. preprius Posted September 28, 2021 Report Posted September 28, 2021 That looks really big. It takes up a lot of the table. It also looks good from this distance of the camera. nice long board to cut large rack of ribs. It would make a good long checker board game. It takes a long time to make a king. Play checkers on it while the ribs are being cooked. oh and the segmented bowl looks good also. Sparkey 1 Quote

Fedido Posted September 30, 2021 Report Posted September 30, 2021 Excellent work. I have made a few, however, I make mine a little different. I used a biscuit jointer in mine. Just thought I would share. Tomanydogs and Sparkey 2 Quote
Sparkey Posted September 30, 2021 Author Report Posted September 30, 2021 Nice Fedido. I like those too. I am mostly doing end grain because they are supposed to last longer and not dull your knives as fast. Fedido 1 Quote
