Dak0ta52 Posted February 14, 2022 Report Posted February 14, 2022 We finally had a warm day this weekend and wouldn't you know it, had to work. Fortunately, I only had to work half a day. Spent the other half in the shop finishing a topper for my WELCOME sign and getting started on one of Jim Blume's Americana series. Felt so good to create some saw dust. preprius Posted February 14, 2022 Report Posted February 14, 2022 Pretty fall leaves. Nice looking Thanksgiving plaque. The grain direction on the feathers is great. Is the the topper you are refering to? Quote

A magnet was placed at the top and I've made different "toppers" to replace for the various seasons throughout the year. The back of each topper has a metal plate that holds them in place with the rare earth magnet. I've got a pumpkin for Halloween that will finish out the set. The wife commented on the grain in the wood for the turkey also. Dumb luck on my part. Quote
