Tensegrity (Floating) Table

I wanted to make my young grandson something out of hockey sticks, he is an enthusiastic player. All our kids played hockey growing up so we had a tremendous amount of sticks. With a huge amount of help from my husband we built this floating table with hockey sticks and pucks for feet. The table is completely being held up by the chains.

Your grandson is going to be in awe at how that works. Love the hockey blade idea for the tension chain, and the pucks for the feet. Fantastic table.

what a wounderful gift for a hocky fan!!!  My son in law is a hocky nutt and would love a table like that.....however I have no intentions on buying a bunch of hocky sticks to make a table....lol  hum wounder if you could use a hocky stick to make a pattern and then cut out a bunch of  them to put together as a table....but then again it wouldnt really be the same would it lol
