barb.j.enders Posted July 14, 2022 Report Posted July 14, 2022 I am wondering what people have done to modify the stand for a DeWalt 788. Adding storage, extended table space, etc. I recall seeing (years ago) some with a "table/shelf" under the saw. I am looking to improve my space and wanting some ideas. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
ChelCass Posted July 14, 2022 Report Posted July 14, 2022 Barb I have a shelf under my scrollsaw and a table to the right of it. All my blades and other items for the saw are on the table. Plus I have a work bench on the left of my saw. Also my saw table is adjustable for different heights. OCtoolguy and barb.j.enders 2 Quote
new2woodwrk Posted July 14, 2022 Report Posted July 14, 2022 I recently added a nice dust collection out of pvc. I've been working with it now for a few weeks, and ready to install it on one of my Delta saws as well OCtoolguy and barb.j.enders 2 Quote
Garyrenee Posted July 17, 2022 Report Posted July 17, 2022 I have three small shelves for the go to stuff. The middle is just small parts for the saw like the never used hold down. Scrap box on bottom of course. Pedal control fastened to a comfortable height. Saw tilted about 2 1/2 inches. I’m not a super scroller like you guys but I do enjoy it when have something to do with it. I’ll try to add pics. The last pic is an urn. I make quite a few of these barb.j.enders, jollyred and OCtoolguy 2 1 Quote
Roberta Moreton Posted July 18, 2022 Report Posted July 18, 2022 I have my foot pedal on the little “shelf” near the bottom of my stock stand. I also wire tied an electrical extension strip to the top side of the stand. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
