Anyone hear from him since the storm? I know he lives in the southern portion but not sure where at in relation to the storm track etc.. Just wondering if anyone has seen him online or whatever. I've been busy and haven't been on a lot so a lot of topics and post are getting past me. I think he is in Fort Lauderdale area, don't know if that area was hit hard or not.

I don't think that area was affected. It seems that the storm crossed over from west to east just south of Orlando. I'd be more worried about those in the northern half of the state.

Yeah, I was thinking maybe the same thing but hadn't looked at the map to confirm my thought. Have a good friend that has a "winter home" in Punta Gorda which the storm went right through there. Her home is damaged but still standing. and thankfully she was here and not there. Though before the storm even evolved she had a flight booked to go there next week. She is hoping to be able to still go and while it probably wont be a vacation now but rather clean up and repairs. Her place is damaged but she don't know the extent of it. Several homes ( one right behind hers ) in the park are completely leveled and gone..

My brother lives is New Port Richey which is north of Punta Gorda he lost a tree from his yard but that was about all.. 

Anyway I haven't seen Kevin on since the storm or even seen him on saying anything about it before hand so wasn't sure. Hope he's doing okay and just busy

My brother lives in Palm Beach Gardens.  He had 30-40mph wind for 2 days and about 5" rain total, had a few branches down but no real damage.  He said it was pretty bad just 50 miles north of him.  My nephew lives on the north side of Orlando and also had minimal damage.  The storm passed somewhere between the two of them.

Unfortunately, Kevin has not been on recently, even before Ian. I had realized last week that it had once again been a little while since he had posted and was concerned he was down again health wise , after he was doing so much better recently. I just checked and he was last online here on Sept. 19th. I hope he is okay. @amazingkevin

Just contacted him. His only reply was that he has electricity.

Here I am, hard to get situated everyday. Always something grabbing my attention.looks like lots of the old times have dropped out?
