Sycamore67 Posted December 23, 2022 Report Posted December 23, 2022 (edited) For Christmas present, I made a Quarto game. It is kind of like an advanced connect four but you can match height, color, shape or top hole. One interesting thing is that you pick the piece your opponent has to place. The games are fairly quick and involve strategy. The board is Walnut with Poplar edging. The pieces are Walnut and Maple. My wife made the bag and embroidered it. Joe W. Posted December 23, 2022 Report Posted December 23, 2022 Very nice. I've been looking at wooden games as another item to add to next year's table at the farmers' market. This looks like a good candidate. Quote
Gonzo Posted December 24, 2022 Report Posted December 24, 2022 (edited) Thanks for posting this. Reminded me that I’ve been wanting to make one for awhile. I really like the poplar border Edited December 24, 2022 by Gonzo Quote
