Funny how everyone has a different style cutting etc.. I struggle on turns with the FD-UR blades and when cutting cherry sometimes I'll get scorched edges on sharp turns with them.. after many years of scrolling I got it figured out that I was pushing through the corners a bit too hard or needed more speed on the saw.. Turned out I needed more saw speed, you'd think making the saw speed faster would burn more but the burning was due to pushing through to fast.. I only have trouble in the turns on compound cut projects Kevin. I think it is mostly the wood I was using. Couldn't be me LOl. I tried some poplar today and everything came out perfect.. Well good anyway. OCtoolguy and kmmcrafts 2 Quote
Davevand Posted March 6, 2023 Report Posted March 6, 2023 I have used both the Pegas and the FD. My go to are the #3 and #5 Pegas MGT blades. I do use the FD blades on occasion but I find them a bit to aggressive for me. I have started to use the Olson MACH blades lately and really like them, clean cut, and last forever. They do seem to have a slightly larger kerf and the are a bit more expensive, but they last much longer then the Pegas blades. Quote

I've never seen them in anything but small lots. Quote

Not that I can remember, can't find the receipt but I had to purchase by the dozen. Adds to the cost. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

Wooden Teddy Bear has bulk prices for 12+ dozen. I don’t know if that means one gross in a package or 12 packages of one dozen. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

I think they were Moch 1 or something like that. Quote
