gator Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 i decided to buy a new scroll saw so surf the net for best deal. really like seyco and would like to buy from them but there shipping from Dallas area to Houston area was about $80 and i would have to pay tax for living in the state. no fault of there's of course but it is money. i found Mann tool supply in south Carolina. (let me say i do not know these people or have ever bought from them) they quoted me $720 for the saw only deliver to my house. i called to get a tracking number and they found that they did not have it in stock. very apologetic and contacted there supplier to send it straight to me. they were told it was but next day they found there had been a mix up between them. they contacted me and were once again apologetic and said they will be sending me the stand and floor switch for free for the couple day delay. if your going to buy new machines give them a look. http://www.manntools.com/default.aspx?page=home Quote
Travis Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 It's so nice to hear a good Customer Service story. Congrats on the new saw! Quote
mikesscrollsaw Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 Good info, it seems harder and harder to find vendors with great customer service. Thanks Quote
WolfmoonCT Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 I love to shoot.. I have had a Caldwell "Rock" bench rest for a while. I found that I was missing a part for it a few years ago. It was a plastic cylinder with a screw in it, that was a post that the windadge knob would press against to adjust windage. I found out they had changed the design of the top part of the rest. I called them saying I had the older version, and I needed this part. They said it was no longer made, and they had none. Then the lady who answered the phone told me to hold on, and she went out onto the floor and talked with a couple of the guys out there. They found the part on a retuned rest that had an issue, took it off it, and mailed it to me free of charge. I thought that was amazing service. Quote
rjR Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 American Tire in Beaverton OR 185th ave. has FANTASTIC customer service. I took a tire there with a screw sticking out of it; did not leak, but had spotted the problem before it happened at a very bad time!(Freeway). They actually repaired it free! I had not bought the tire from them; in fact it had been purchased at a competing store 1500+ miles away! They fixed it free; because we live with our son's family and the phone # was on their list! Yes, when I need tires I KNOW WHERE I WILL GO! Quote
