This doesn't appear to be the made in China version so it should be a decent deal.. Why I say doesn't appear to be made in China you may ask... well it could be made in China one but so far I have never seen a China one have the taller knob at the back of the saw to adjust the arm parallel.. All the China made ones I've seen that knob is really close to the top of the saw.. and most all the original EX's have the taller knob..

I looked at all the pics but never saw the knob you mention. It does appear to be a great saw and price. If it were near me, I'd have to check it out. Oddly enough, it appears to be very close to where I was born. Racine, about 5 blocks in from the lake.

It's in the first picture at the back of the saw on top.. It sets up taller than the saw and you can see some of the threaded rod and lock nut that the knob is connected to.. The China saws that knob is close to the plastic cover and you usually cannot even see that rod.. and I don't think the China saw has a lock nut for the knob..

After double clicking the pic it opened up full screen so I could see it. Thanks. Nice saw & great price.

My daughters friend hit a deer with her 06 -07 ish chevy trailblazer so I fixed it up for her and repainted the front fender and bumper.. the color is really close match to these tables.. I had some leftover paint and the urethane 2 stage ( base coat clear coat )  auto  paint is way better quality than whatever the factory put on my saw.. I've repainted it twice now though.. could use it again..

I originally just striped it to bare steel like the DeWalt and some other saws.. but i found that the painted surface seem to help the wood glide across the table much better than a metal waxed table.. also waxing it quite regularly does extend the paint life by quite a lot..
