Use a print out from a Laser or Ink jet printer and reverse the text (very important) and take some Mod podge and coat the wood and the printout apply print on wood, let dry 24 h and then take a damp cloth and rub the paper of and the image will stay on the wood.

Protect the image with some clear lacquer or other protecting finishes.

Where is hundreds of videos on the topic on YT look and tray.

I have a woodburning pencil with interchangeable tips. It has a round heat transfer tip that I use to transfer text. I reverse the text and print it on a laser printer.  Place it on the wood and rub the transfer tip over the paper. It takes a little practice to get the heat right.  I attached a picture of my setup if that helps. 20240217_220401.thumb.jpg.af4870e9d93c57f3ebd1be9860e47c34.jpg
