Nice. We get the pleasure of seeing them all winter. I have 3 nesting boxes set up. We always get them nesting in at least one box. Usually get 2,sometimes 3,broods. Love watching them.

Not a lot of them in SE Washington, but we use to have a local guy that made a great many blue bird houses and put them on fence posts on farms up in near by mountains.  Every Spring he would go clean and repair each one.  He was pretty famous for it .  Since pasted.  Not sure it some family carried on the tradition,  The blue birds must stay in the mountains.  I have never seen one around my place.
