Scrappile Posted July 11, 2024 Report Posted July 11, 2024 (edited) If you look closely at squirrels you will realize they are nothing but bushy-tailed rats. I'm not a squirrel fan. They would destroy my walnut crop. Not for food, but just to pick off the walnuts before they were ripe and drop them on the ground to rot. The reason I bought a good pellet rifle. But this marine is a softy, hate to shoot something so I purchased a trap. I Trapped many. Took them some where and released them. I should have tagged them. I am pretty sure some of them beat me home! Little devils. Edited July 11, 2024 by Scrappile Charlie E, OCtoolguy and danny 1 2 Quote

I'd watch them from the window and they would empty the jar in one day and bury every one of them in the yard. How they ever find them again is beyond me. danny and OCtoolguy 2 Quote

Used to trap them and spray paint them different colors and let them go. Every once in awhile we would see a blue or red one in the store. danny, Scrappile and OCtoolguy 3 Quote
