My second attempt at intarsia - I am getting hooked on this.  

The pattern is the "Project of the Month" for August (PAM 6) from the Intarsia Nuts Facebook group.  

Woods I used include Yellow Heart, Black Walnut, Poplar, Laurel, and some mystery wood.  

The mystery woods are a gift from a friend of a friend.  He uses exotic woods to make guitars. He gave me a couple of boxes of cutoffs, some marked and some not.

I just found a very similar image I'm planning to make into a Intarsia pattern.  

I've got a couple ofher projects in line before I tackle a Pelican.

Well done.  I have mine cut, but need to do a fix.  Hopefully I will get it done in time for the contest!
