Clayton717 Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 I bought a cheap one from walmart. it came with several different tips and was between $ 20 -$ 30. it works great for me. I just use it to "burn" detail into some of my intarsia projects. I haven't used it to sign my name, but it work for that. mine came with a small pointed tip. some of the hobby stores sell some cheaper models as well the intarsia with the most burning detail was my ring neck pheasant, it can be seen in my user gallery.
