This is sold as an intarsia pattern, but I did it as a segmentation.  Just because I like doing segmentation and don't have the wood for intarsia. I saw the pattern and really like it.  The picture shown was segmentation also.  The pattern is on Etsy at Prinn DesignsShop

I did it in 1/4" BB, using stains for color, black. Gerneral Finishes Gel stain "Nutmeg" and "Candlelite", Varathane, "Golden Oak", and "Dark Walnut".  Finish with several coats of Deft Lacquer.  There are a little over 60 pieces to it.

I want to frame it, just haven'd decided how.  Something that compliments Native American pictures.

Wow, Paul that is beautiful, never thought segmentation could look that great with all the detail that you did on it,  and i take it that you don't have to shape it, I might have to try that, actually its on the lines of marquetry using different colors of vernear, RJ

The wood is 13" x 13". buffalo is aprox 9" x 6.5"
