Popular Post Fish Posted March 10 Popular Post Report Posted March 10 I had to do another in Walnut. Probably my favorite wood. It takes ten times longer to polyurethane than to cut. We’re gonna keep this one. ChelCass, MarieC, Sycamore67 and 19 others 19 1 2 Quote
rafairchild2 Posted March 10 Report Posted March 10 Lovely. i just finished a piece in walnut myself a few minutes ago, will post. But without a doubt, when finished with Danish Oil, walnut looks beautiful. It is an easy wood to cut too. very forgiving. Quote
Fish Posted March 10 Author Report Posted March 10 Thanks. I’ve never tried danish oil. I’m cutting another one I’ll look at trying that. How much do you use? Let it soak for awhile? Is that the only thing you use on it? Quote

But you can get away with only using Danish Oil. Note, some D.O. comes tinted. So you want the natural, so you do not accidently, change the color. Fish 1 Quote

Hawk Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 Excellent work! Where did you get the pattern? I have someone in mind that would love this for their wall. Chris Fish 1 Quote
