kmmcrafts Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 Unfortunately I feel everything is going to go to a pay to play deal.. seems you need a subscription to everything now days. I've never used the rapidsizer one. You might look into the Posterazor. I use it but I'm not on a Mac either.. maybe they have a mac version? I'm assuming you want it for enlarging patterns etc? Scrappile Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 (edited) I use a free download called "Splitprint". I like it. I will take a pattern, crop off all the border around the actual pattern the resize it in Splitprint. There is the option to resize in inches, which I use. I have been using it for a few years now. I downloaded from the Mac Store, is or was free https://www.splitprint.com Edited April 30 by Scrappile kmmcrafts and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
GregBennett Posted May 2 Report Posted May 2 I use Word for all my sizing needs. I'm running Windows 11 and if I want to copy of a pattern from a PDF, I use the Snipping tool. I'll save PNG files as JPG. I'll further crop it in Photos to eliminate anything outside of the pattern. I set my margins in Word at .17" and enable the ruler. I can resize the photo in Word to line up with the ruler markings. For patterns that I want to make wider than 8.5" I'll crop them into a right and left half and join them in the center with scotch tape. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Fish Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 I’ve used rapid resizer for about five years now. I think it’s worth the basic price. It lets me do what I need. Clean up the pattern resize etc. I’ve used it a lot to enlarge patterns. They’ve all come out clean and sharp. Fab4 and Mike Crosa 2 Quote
