    I have a company close by that is selling Baltic birch scrap for a dollar a pound 8x12 and other sizes in that ball park is that a good deal or stay away from it he also said it was grade BBB from Russia this stack was $25

  7. I made this today and am thinking it would look better with a piece of ply on the back if I use boiled linseed oil on the pattern and paint the backer black would they stick together with wood glue or maybe someone could point me in a good direction for doing this
  8. I am getting nowhere with Inkscape is why I’m trying to use the one online Do you know of a video online to use Inkscape for keychain and name plates both those fonts I like but can’t find them in my Inkscape how can I download load them to a Mac computers are just over my head

  11. I made a trivet .75 cherry wood can I finish it with tried and true or boiled linseed oil without it catching on fire or anything else bad when using it on a hot stove or putting hot pans on it. Yhanks

I like the magazine including the centerfold but why do they post patterns that probably the majority can’t copy this month one pattern is like 9x9 my printer is 8.5x10 my closest place that will make a copy that size is an hour away and wants $20 for a copy then if u can make your own copies u have to fold it and now there is tinkles and lines if u flip it over to copy something from the others side Signed just venting
  14. I’m still having trouble with my blades breaking looking for pointers hegner machine Flying Dutchman ultra reverse blades most of the breaks are within an inch of the top of the blade the rest at the bottom of blade 2.5 Baltic birch
  15. Someone near me is a cnc and laser cutter and is selling there left over Baltic birch for a $1 a pound so do you think that is worth it 1/8 and 1/4 inch thick
