A fellow saw me at our first show of the year and thanked me for my service in the military.  He then saw the 17" Red Oak plaque that I make for our heroes.  We talked about it and he left.  About a week later, he shows up on my doorstep and asked me if I would  make one for his son-in-law that had paid the ultimate sacrifice in Afganastan.  Below is the result of our conversations.

Always sad to hear about one of our warriors paying the ultimate price. Wonderful tribute and memorial for Sgt. Walker.

And this Marine thanks you for your service as well.  Semper Fi, Eric
