I finally started working on the Kenworth truck. This has been one of my to do projects for quite a while. Once finished I will start the lowboy trailer and bulldozer to go with it. I started taking a couple pictures once I had something together that started looking like a truck. It is all cut from walnut with maple accents. Most of the pieces are cut out, just have to start putting it all together and then start adding the small details.

Clayton ,is this a first for a motorized veheicle for you?

No, I built one of these trucks a couple years ago for my Dad. I made that one 75% of the original size. I added a regular style box trailer to his, it stores his whiskey bottle. Pictures of that one are in my old gallery, under misc.

Mr.Clayton sir,I realize that this truck of yours is just sittin still but your really movin on it.A real master piece that is muesuem qualityThe chose of woods you decided on add so much enchantment to it.the cab and the colors and grain depict it's age and luster.your pop must show everyone the fantastic wood world of his sons makings.Oh how i drool when i see a Claytons Creations coming about .Even in it's beginings stages you can tell it's going to be an awesome finish  when done.An increditably gifted and blessed woodworker ,and one of the best!
