  Today is a wet one here in Ny; Hoping it clears up 

I have a welding job I'm doing and get a call from the person he has another for me to do.

 I need to get to woodworking for Christmas projects. 

This month is booked up already

Good Morning

 

I just got in from our local woodworker breakfast.  We meet in Whitby, Ontario Canada the first Sunday of every month (holiday or not) .  Been doing this for over 7 years now.

 

It started with about 3 guys and has kept going.  This morning there where only 8 but we have had over 20 at a high.  Today the weather is really crappy and so that effects how many show up. 

 

There are 3 scrollers there but the talk is about everything and a lot is not woodworking.  Sometimes there is show and tell sometimes not.

 

Met many good friends over the years.

Golden Corral sound like a great idea, I wish we had one here.  Overcast, rainy, just plain nasty day.  Looks like I will be getting some more ornaments cut and then watch my Nascar race.

That's the trouble Kevin you guy's over there have all this great "Food" on offer, It makes me

salivate just thinking about all that food .

Used to love golden coral but last time i went was mothers day and they charged us $10 more than normal just because it WAS mothers day !!! NOT RIGHT cause my wife didn't get free like i do on Veterans Day. $ 30 for 2 people at a buffet is robbery. They lost my patronage for good. And their food is not as good as it used to be and then they want a tip for no service. You have to get your own drinks,plates,silverware,rolls, and it won't be long you'll have to clean yer own table !!! just my $30 worth so i'll hush now.

last time before this a young couple came in with there a baby.i had a belly full already but wanted more.i changed my mine when the young girl put the baby on the floor on a blanket and changed her dirty diapers with phooey stinky caca right there in the dining room.i just about lost my dinner asi started to vomit almost.the lady at the table next to me asked if I was alright .I said yes but that girl is changing the babys poopy diapers right there.When I left I told the manager .he lunged and stood back in exclaim and shook his head ,and said ,I I thought I seen it all.you should have said something.i don't need an altercation with anyone even though I would have loved to but im old and useless and too slow to do any thing .live and learn.can't wait to go back and see what will happen next.you can allways count on something and another time me and a friend put our silver ware on the table left the receipt on the table with drinks and a family moved our stuff to another table.the nerve of some people.
