A raccoon for my eldest daughter

Here is a piece I made from a pattern obtained from Judy Roberts. I used cedar, poplar, and Juniper on it.  For those who have not tried intarsia and are wanting to, go ahead and give it a try. If I can do it, anyone can.

He is so cute Dick, she is going to love it.  Ever since I decided to give it a go I have been flat out like a lizard drinking.   But I will definitely give it a go next year.

That is spectacular and a great job. The wood selection and use of the wood grains is just right.

Your cutting and fitting look great. Your daughter will love it and should know that it was made by an intarsia artist.

has anyone else ever used juniper wood before ? It is native to our area and has coloring that looks like cedar in most cases.

Very nice. I'm getting ready to try my hand at intarsia, looks like fun. Can't wait for my wood to get here.
