Sparkey Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Well I drew a pattern and bought some wood. Been doing a lot of reading on here and another forum. Here are some pictures of where I am at so far. Not going to glue it yet because I don't know if I want to do any more sanding or leave it as is. Birchbark 1 Quote
Ron Johnson Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 Hi Rusty Fantastic for being your first Intarsia project. Love the woods you've chosen and can't wait to see completed. You should be proud. Quote
Sparkey Posted December 30, 2013 Author Report Posted December 30, 2013 Thanks Ron. I am going to do some more sanding to try and contour the petals of the flowers a little more. I am going to print the picture that I made the pattern from and go from there. Quote
heppnerguy Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 I like your pattern and the job that you have done too. I think that I would add soem contour to it too. The most of that you do, the better you will like it when it is finished. Way to go Rusty. Dick heppnerguy Quote
