Congratulations on new TOOL! (shh- toy!)

 

I hope you can enjoy it many years.  

 

I have the newest saw on this forum!!! Maybe not--- a 1952;

YES, 1952 Craftsman. No I do NOT use it much; but, it still works.  Because it has no motor, uses a flexplate and an electromagnet it is  limited to quite lite material. I bought it new in 1953 when electricity came to the wasteland of NW ND.  Sometime in the early 60's I tried to get a broken part from Sears and they told me not to bother as it was a 1952 saw. It has been running on home-made parts ever since!
