Clayton717 Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 I built a podium at work to replace an old worn out one. I was asked to make a city seal in intarsia style to put on the front of it. The seal is 11 1/4" in diameter. this is what I came up with. the objects around the "arrows" are inlayed. Woods used were - walnut, curly maple, cherry, box elder, aromatic red cedar, yellowheart, honey locus, sycamore, wenge, poplar, and mahogany. It still needs a couple more coats of finish as soon as I get it done and mounted on the podium I will post a pic of it complete. I have about 14 hours in it. amazingkevin and Travis 2 Quote
