LarryEA Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Big day today! Gotta have a good breakfast. KItchen is open, fix what you want I gotta feed the critters, clean a couple stalls and go another round of cutting fire wood for next year. This past winter cleaned me out. I want to cut 2 years worth. Out with nature, nothing but me and my chainsaw I do just sit in the woods and enjoy it while I sip my morning coffee. Take care, God bless Larry browders, Rob Roy and Phantom Scroller 3 Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Sounds good to me sat in the woods with a cup of tea and a doughnut I think trouble is everything I cut up I won't burn. Roly Rob Roy 1 Quote

Fay Prozora Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Coffee's great this a.m. Still resting some from the camping trip we went on. We camped at Fort Warden State Park and it was fun, a little chilly but fun. Mom got confused a few times, but she is at that age where she doesn't remember from day to day. Sis and I roasted hot dogs in a fire but the dogs got some of them. I set them down too close to where they were tied and zappo the wieners were gone. But we enjoyed it. I have 2 boxes almost done. Sis went home for a few days and it's just me and Mom so I will be in the shop and also do some of the house work. Got to call the Dr today to make my 6 month apt on my diabetes follow up and I want to see what is going on with my right wrist. There is either a bone spur or some sort of arthritic condition going on and it aches. So it is a bit deformed and usable so that is a blessing. Well going to lie down a while and then go to the shop. Take care all,, Fay Quote
browders Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Oh, is it Monday? When you're retired, it doesn't matter what night you go to bed, the next day is always Saturday. Thanks for the coffee! amazingkevin 1 Quote
Wilson's Woodworking Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 After a very long 3 ½ day weekend a good cup of Joe sounds great. I took my mother in Friday to have her pace maker/defaulter replaced. I live 3 hours from her and the hospital is 3 hours in another direction so left home Thursday after noon and didn’t get home till Saturday evening. It seemed like a week. She is doing better than expected so all is well. I wish I would have had a little more free time while I was in Lincoln. I would have loved to get ahold of Doug and seen his shop and stopped at a store that sells exotic woods. Oh well hopefully next time. Quote

wombatie Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Thanks for the coffee Larry and G'Day to you all. Well I got home yesterday (Monday) and went straight to my youngest daughters house to see her because she went into hospital today to have her thyroid glands removed. I have spoken to her and the surgery went well so I can relax now for a little while, that is until the grandkids turn up tomorrow and we have them until Saturday. Oh the joys of being a grandparent. I love every minute of it. See you tomorrow. Marg Wilson's Woodworking 1 Quote

Rob Rpy Yes I think my mother is recovering better than I am. She had the opportunity to sleep the next two days after the trip. Rob Roy 1 Quote
