LarryEA Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Open for SSV Members Family and Friends... That's about everyone. Morning Menu: Coffee & Tea Oh, by the way, I had to clean up a lot of beer bottles, one bourbon, and wash a bunch of cups from last night. Kevin, those 99 bottles On a day hot enough to make the Devil cuss I walked into a bar so thirsty I was spittin' dust ... amazingkevin 1 Quote
Dan Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Thanks for cleaning up Larry. lol The rain has finally stopped and we have some nice days in store. I need to rotate my tires and try to fix a leaf blower today. Our yard is a swamp this morning so the grass won't get cut until Friday. My apple and cherry trees are budding out. These are just 3-foot saplings but I'm pretty excited. Quote
sullyscroller Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Thanks for the cup of Joe Larry. Party's are fun but the cleanup is a bummer LOL. Getting things organized for next weeks show in Boone. Have the canopy up and side walls on it under the carport to check for any repairs needed. Now i need to get my display walls up in it to check for fit as i rebuilt them this winter and put on a new coat of paint on the pegboard.Still have to check ropes weights and tie downs to get them ready as well. Also trying to get my stockpile of traps built up. Sold 30 this past weekend at a tractor show, so i figger i'l need around 500 for the first six months ,i'm only 100 away from that now. BUSY BUSY BUSY Ya'll have a blessed day sully Quote
Fay Prozora Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Thanks for the clean up and coffee this a.m. It sure is good too. Mine is getting a little cold but then it is cold in here. Will be heading out the door to the habitat store this a.m. once they open. Then I'll just come back home and start packing up my stuff to get ready to go back to Sequim tomorrow and back to my saw. I can just guess my tools were talking about me while I'm gone. I had to get away for a few days. Well off to start my day Have a great one Fay Quote

Right now in the early spring the bee's are out in force like crazy and the traps sell into the fall of the year. sully Quote
Fay Prozora Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 Well today I trapped some wood at the habitat store. I got a lot of BB plywood and it'll keep me busy for a little while. got a few tools also. So I'm going to pack it all into a big suitcase and then will see what I can make. I'm planning to build a Noah's Ark and I have a nice board to cut out the animals out of. So there's a start. I'll be able to get a bowl or two out of it too. I might go get the rest of what they had, but I want to go to Home Depot and get a nice pine board to make the ark and a few bowls and other things. Looking forward to getting back to my saw any ways. Hope Sis isn't feeling too down. The cancer diagnosis may not have sunk in yet or maybe it did but it didn't sink in for me for a day or so. It just feels like a bad dream. Well going to make a snack and then go chit chine, chower and champoo and then go to bed..... Good night Fay Quote

Don't know if it's the meds that's causing it but I'm going to have to give myself a good shake, before Marg 2 does. Now, that doesn't bear thinking about, something could get broken. .
