Kepy Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 What did you spike your coffee with? If you keep up at that pace, will be really tired by evening. Will try some of the coffee. Maybe it will perk me up. Had a rough night as was up about 4 taking a nitro tablet. Have a busy day today as am going to attend a wood carving group where I will try my hand at some chip carving. Then later have an appointment to see a representatives aide to discuss the VA mess and how it has effected me. LarryEA and Rob Roy 2 Quote
Wilson's Woodworking Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 I NEED some of that coffee today!!!!! Dragging butt after a very short night last night. We went to one of my son Branden's place yesterday and went fishing. 3.5 hour drive one way. The good news is the Northern Pike were really biting. The bad news is we had to clean them. Sis's blood sugar was sky high and Mom had trouble with shortness of breath and such so she went in the first ambulance that came and Sis went in the second one that came. I was asleep though all of this so any whooo,, The Dr called me last night about her brain scan they were going to do and such... sis just called and they are releasing her so she'll be home after a bit. Ok Danny, what did you use for bait? I've never caught a Pike. Lots and lots of Bass and trout. Quote
Dan Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Larry, have you slowed down yet? I'm a little late for hot coffee and I'm dog-tired right now. I like your reference to Murder By Death. Did you know Truman Capote played an eccentric millionaire named Lionel Twain? I never thought of two two twain, but it's pretty funny. I would have guessed Madeline Kahn would have been in the film. Dan, so what did you do? Plant more trees? I just looked up the detectives (seemed like there were more) Sam Diamond, Dick and Dora Charleston, Inspector Milo Perrier, Inspector Sidney Wang & Jessica Marbles It is a nice relaxing funny movie. wombatie Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 I think you've been drinking FAR TO MUCH coffee Larry. I think you need to ease off a while. Had dinner at my daughters last night for my granddaughters 9th birthday., great night. Spent this afternoon in the garage with the heater on, almost finished the second dog. Stay safe everyone and I'll see you tomorrow. Marg Quote
Wilson's Woodworking Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 Ok Danny, what did you use for bait? I've never caught a Pike. Lots and lots of Bass and trout. Red devil spoons. My son was using a cheeper spoon that was red and white and still getting hits on it. I had never had much luck with spoons before but they were nailing them in this pond. Quote

As a matter of fact I've planted a dogwood for my mom and helped my brother plant a few hardwoods. I figure by my 150th birthday I'll have all the hardwoods I need for scrolling. I agree, the movie was fun and relaxing. Quote
