hi Everyone

Hi Mac, nice to meet you! SS Village is a great place to be. fEZ.
5. Thanks friends, I use (very poor quality) 5 or less mm plywood, that I cover (after scrolling work of course) with a home made coating : fEZ.
6. Finally made it. The one with big eyes is #3 Imed. Pattern is available in the forum's Gallery : Or on my Blog : http://myscrollsawprojects.blogspot.com/2009/01/mirror-frame-2.html
7. Fine! What about starting a "Messiest Shop" photo thread then Travis ? lol. fEZ.
8. Okay... Okay... Travis. This is what call a challenge. I need a better camera though. I'll really think about how to organise my shop for that. Thanks Travis. fEZ.
9. Oh thanks Travis! Here's a variation on the theme of boat lamps. Just more paint on it really... This one went to good friend Ibrahim for his first baby. Might help during long long cries nights to come! Pattern is in the gallery... fEZ.

HI

Hi NC, It's nice to have you with us. fEZ.
12. Thanks Travis, Yes I do use slot things(?) to slide the panels in. The plywood I use is too thin and of a very poor in quality for it to stand any bevelling or so. Here are two more (will I ever get out of my parallelepipedic period... if there's a way in, there should be a way out ) fEZ.
13. Thanks KTS. One more... you like... or you don't either way It's sold! fEZ.
14. A happy event. Our cat has given birth to 5.

17. Thanks for the link Blame! fEZ.
18. Congrats Blame! Good addition to SSV ! fEZ.
19. Hi Bill and welcome to SSV. What would people who have something to share be without people who are in need? Stay around ... in now time we'll be lost without you, friend! fEZ.
20. "Look Dad! You've fixed your blade upside down!" Cute little stroll sawer!
21. Why not share pictures of who/what you like most in life : family, pets, plants, sceneries, cars, shoes! Or just unforgettable moments... I start! This is my daughter Aïda (8) and my son Imed (3 1/2). My other son Yanis isn't at home for the day. fEZ.
22. Hi, I very much like wordart stuff, mainly with religious themes, and all plant-like motifs. What I'd love to venture in is something more into Abstract or Cubist art for scroll saw. That would definitely promote Scroll sawing. Wouldn't it? @ Clayton : Why not add a Poll to this thread?
23. Good topic Clayton. So far I've found that using nails on corners or on scrap-to-be areas quiet simple. fEZ.
24. My pleasure Clayton, Fran and Paul. Well Travis, it's been one of those simple ideas that take time to spring up, after trying glass, plexy, textile, all sorts of paper. I personally am very satisfied with this "composite's" properties. What gauze adds to the texture is a square pattern that's not quiet regular nor geometrical, but rather like an organic tissue. The paper alone is less resistant and becomes more brittle than it is, when associated to gauze. I've tested it over night with a 40W bulb, and didn't notice any distortion or change in colour. I couldn't tell how close to rice paper is this material for I've never seen any. @ Fran : I use an ordinary 40W B type Bulb (flame shaped) socket. Be well, fEZ.
