I drew circles around the tubes I use to store my blades in on the top of the cutting board block and then I drilled the holes in rows to store the blade tubes.I have two different size tubes I store my blades in, so on one side of the cutting board block I have 2 rows of tubes and different size blade tubes on the other side of the cutting board block in 2 rows also.I will try to get some pictures of this storage unit I made so You can see it.

  21. Travis I had to take the saw apart to get at the tenison rod unit it was seized up. someone tightened it down so tight it wouldn't move. we lubbed it up and finally got it to break loose while saw was part we noticed the air bellows was shot too and didn't work at all . so i got on sears.com site and priced the two parts i needed for the saw. emailed the seller to tell him what it was going to cost us to get the saw up and running right . He refunded $19.10 back to my pay pal acct . Got the parts in a about 5 days put the parts on saw, put saw back together and it runs like a new scroll saw. problem now is work bench is not long enough for this scroll saw .So Husband is going to measure saw and make a addition to work bench in order for the scroll saw to sit ok and mount it to work bench. I'm going to bolt it down to the work bench.I'll have to take pictures of this project when we get around to doing it. I have my main scroll saw my green Dewalt 788 to cut projects out. so I 'm not without a scroll saw.
  22. Thanks Travis I'm thinking of pulling the rod out and see what condition the threads are in meaning rusty or clean.I'll keep you all posted on what i find out and what i have to do.
  23. Hi: I just got a Craftsman a 2005 year scroll saw Model # 137.216100 off of eBay auction site. But when I got it there is a problem the table was rusty but I got that all cleaned up and looking like new. So I decided to change the Blade that was in it to a new blade. I got the new blade put in But when I went to tighten down the Blade tension knob the Knob would Not turn at all. So I took the bottom of the saw off and I sprayed it down with Nut Buster, I sprayed the tension rod where it is connected at in the bottom of the saw and I sprayed the rod area where it is connected up in the top inside area of the saw. it is on the top back of the scroll saw I'm going to go down in my basement tonight again and spray those area up inside the saw again with Nut Buster. And then let it sit for a few day before tryingto see of the Blade tension knob would turn at all. Has any one else had trouble like this with a older Craftsman scroll saw? I think Maybe this scroll saw must have sit in a garage or a storage shed for a long time. The saw looks brand new and it looks like it has only been used one time cause there wasn't very much saw dust up inside the Dust collector attactment. I would appreciate any help on this issue .Thank you all for your Time.
