That is one fantastic looking Koala. You did a great cutting job Dick. Why do companies change what is a good product and make it a terrible one? Do they want people to stop buying it? I would send them an email, they may not know that it is not as good as before. Just a thought. Marg

I can't give you advice on cutting chess pieces but I will suggest that you sand them really well and in between finishing coats. I went to a wood show once and some one was selling scrolled chess pieces and they were as rough as guts, I don't think he ever sold them. Marg
