  1. Paul many many years ago when I was straight out of school I got a job in an Electrical Garage. During the winter when it was too cold to go anywhere during my lunch break I used to sit in the starter motor workshop, by the time I left there 2 years later I could strip a starter motor and put it back together in about 20 minutes. And yes they did work when I finished. Can't do it now unfortunately . Marg
  2. I absolutely adore their little overalls. Did you buy them or did someone make them? Marg
  3. Thanks everyone for the great comments. Well I have been digging around all of my patterns and I finally found what I was looking for but I'm not sure it's going to be of any help to you. The pattern was designed by RAS and I got it from the Scrollsawportraits site back in 2003. Not even sure if the site still operates. Marg
  4. I made this piece to take to a local Art / Craft shop that's opened up in town. Made from 3mm Marine ply., cannot for the life of me remember the name of the pattern designer, it's written on the back and it's now in the shop, sorry. Marg
  5. Where it says Obsessed Scroller just under your name you should put Inlay Magician because you certainly weave some magic into your inlay work. Love every piece. Marg
  6. I love The Big Bang Theory. You have done an amazing job on this piece. Love it. Marg
  7. Wow that is some bed. He will be taking that with him when he gets married. That will become an heirloom. Congratulations on such a large work of art. Marg

  10. I have just spent a leisurely hour looking at Sue Meys Patterns. I usually go there looking for a certain pattern and go but not today, I just wanted to look. Well I think I could have quite easily have spent $1000 without any problem. And the ideas them patterns give you, you just want to go out and scroll more and more. Think I need to sell some more items so that I can go shopping.  Marg.
  11. You have certainly nailed the pattern making skills, you are a natural. The patterns and cuttings are so mush like the actual photo you should be very proud of yourself. Marg
  12. Wow that looks just like a photo. Your customer will be very impressed. Marg
  13. I bet it feels good smelling that sawdust again. Looks good so far. Marg
  14. Anything with a long straight line in and I think oh thats ok until I have to actually do it, give me a curve line any day. I take my hat off to the Intarsia people, I will never be that good because I have too many other things I want to do. I enjoy doing intricate pieces like Paul but don't get the time to do them. But my word art, I have only ever done one piece that I was so proud of and it was a gift, I would have loved to have kept it. DW is the THE best bowl and box maker that I have ever seen and I take my hat off to him. Marg
  15. Now that is something to BRAGG about. He is adorable, Congratulations to all. He's sleeping on the job already. Marg

  22. I hope they don't use tiny beads, because they would fall though the holes. Marg
  23. The Giraffes are great obviously but that / those trees and trunks I really love don't know why just do. Is there going to be a part 3 before it is all put together or just 2 parts? Marg
