  5. Hi Ken, and welcome. Congratulation on an excellent project. Were they all photos of the same boat? Was there any room on the camera for more photos? My husband is always telling me that I take too many photos, I can wait to show him yours. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see some more of your projects. Marg
  6. Always test your finishes on scrap wood first that way you know if you are going to get it right or wrong, because I'm sure we all forget to do that sometimes and wish we had. Marg

  14. I sell by word of mouth, some times I'm busy some times I'm not. I also give to family and friends plus I have made some Christmas ornaments to give to my grandson's class and they paint them for Christmas. But no matter what the reason I cut its always because I want to and I like it. And the money I make always goes back into my hobby for wood supplies, blades etc. Marg
  15. I have also used that trick on a number of occasions. I put the piece back in and hold it there with masking tape. I did it resently with the miniture horse that I did thats in my gallery and when I had finished the cutting I left them in turned it over and sanded it, it worked a treat. And I didn't break a single piece off. It's a lot of little things like this that help make us all good at out craft. Marg

  23. I use an old thin saw blade to poke through the pilot holes Travis, I keep a few in a tumbler next to my saw. I also have a board with a none slip material glued to the under side that I can put on the saw table to give it a lift, then I can use a bit of the blade that would not normally be used. You also need a heater in the winter if you are outside in the garage. Marg
  24. I'm sorry Travis I'm not too sure what I'm supposed to be looking for. I am just a very basic computer person, anything away from the VERY straight forward and I either get lost or I personally freeze. LOL When I am on the site you are all tucked up in your warm little beds. The most there have ever been on at the same time as me was one, they must have had insomnia. Marg
  25. Thanks Guys, it must just be me but it won't put me off this site I love it. Besides I always have to be different. The sign on my gate says that this is the Nut House. Cheers, Marg
