  2. Great Work All Of Them Marg
  3. I sell by word of mouth, some times I'm busy some times I'm not. I also give to family and friends plus I have made some Christmas ornaments to give to my grandson's class and they paint them for Christmas. But no matter what the reason I cut its always because I want to and I like it. And the money I make always goes back into my hobby for wood supplies, blades etc. Marg
  4. I have also used that trick on a number of occasions. I put the piece back in and hold it there with masking tape. I did it resently with the miniture horse that I did thats in my gallery and when I had finished the cutting I left them in turned it over and sanded it, it worked a treat. And I didn't break a single piece off. It's a lot of little things like this that help make us all good at out craft. Marg
  5. That is a beautiful bowl. I too would also like to know how you did it. Marg

  12. I use an old thin saw blade to poke through the pilot holes Travis, I keep a few in a tumbler next to my saw. I also have a board with a none slip material glued to the under side that I can put on the saw table to give it a lift, then I can use a bit of the blade that would not normally be used. You also need a heater in the winter if you are outside in the garage. Marg
  13. I'm sorry Travis I'm not too sure what I'm supposed to be looking for. I am just a very basic computer person, anything away from the VERY straight forward and I either get lost or I personally freeze. LOL When I am on the site you are all tucked up in your warm little beds. The most there have ever been on at the same time as me was one, they must have had insomnia. Marg
  14. Thanks Guys, it must just be me but it won't put me off this site I love it. Besides I always have to be different. The sign on my gate says that this is the Nut House. Cheers, Marg
  15. Its just this site Travis. I can wait upto 20 seconds or more for a page to come up, another time it only takes about 5 seconds. Other sites I'm on can be instant from one page to the next. Marg
  16. I'm on broadband and when I'm on you are all fast asleep in your beds But seriously this as been happening for awhile. Guess it must be my computer. I guess I will have to put up with it for awhile longer. Thaks Guys. Marg
  17. I'm not sure if it's my computer or not. Does anyone else think that the site is running a bit slower lately? Some days it drives me up the wall but I do manage to not to fall asleep while I am waiting for the next topic. Marg
  18. It was my husbands birthday on Sunday and I gave him the Lancaster Bomber and he was over the moon he can't wait to get back to work to show his work mates. Thanks alot Paul for the pattern. Marg
  19. Maybe patterns of the newer singers that the younger generation would like. We don't seem to aim for that age group much do we? Just a suggestion. Marg
  20. If anyone speaks to him on facebook could you please tell him that he is missed please. Marg
  21. Great idea, now I'm going to have to buy another one. I have one in my handbag and on it are some of the projuects that I have made so that I can show people when I am out .. It is very handy. Marg

  24. This is from a pattern by Grampa. Thanks Paul, my husband will love it. It was a bit of a tricky pattern but apart from a couple of very minor mishaps it turn out great. Once again, Thank You. Marg
  25. I have not had time yet to go to the village university, every time I get some free time something crops up. But I do intend to one day lock myself in, switch off the phone and sit and study. I guess you are never too old to learn. Marg
