You did a great job on the pattern and cutting! I also agree with Mick about the wood grain. Your pattern has beautiful flowing lines and looks fairly easy to cut. Try it again on a lighter wood with almost no grain....then decide which one you like best.
Love the Kitty Angel...too cute! You have been very busy and the school kids will have a blast painting your angels AND taking their special angel home! That was very nice of you to donate these to the kids. Great job all around.
Great cutting and awesome pattern, Dan! Thanks for sharing it with us.
I believe the patterns will stay in the New Pattern section for a while and then Travis will move them to their proper places.
Thanks for all the nice comments!
Marge, the candle tray was fun to cut/decorate and like you, I have so many things on my cut list I don't know if I'll ever get to do them all! LOL
some things I did over the summer.
This is one of Sheila Landry's candle trays. The pattern was in Creative Woodworks and Crafts August 2011. Finished it today.
The Crossing Sign was for the daughters yard.
This was a "trading of cuts" with my hair stylist.....my hair for her portrait! LOL
The yellow lab was a "Thank You!" for donating $200.00 to the MS Mudd Run.
These were made for my daughter for her guest room which is done in the Native American theme.
Excellent cutting and I like the way you did the frame. That was very nice of you to do this for the family, Chris. They will certainly appreciate it. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice, Bill! I like the contrasting handle on the one with the wolves. You did a fine job cutting all the teeth....you deserve to pat yourself on the back! Keep up the good work.
