  2. You did a great job on the pattern and cutting! I also agree with Mick about the wood grain. Your pattern has beautiful flowing lines and looks fairly easy to cut. Try it again on a lighter wood with almost no grain....then decide which one you like best.

  22. Thanks for all the nice comments! Marge, the candle tray was fun to cut/decorate and like you, I have so many things on my cut list I don't know if I'll ever get to do them all! LOL
  23. some things I did over the summer. This is one of Sheila Landry's candle trays. The pattern was in Creative Woodworks and Crafts August 2011. Finished it today. The Crossing Sign was for the daughters yard. This was a "trading of cuts" with my hair stylist.....my hair for her portrait! LOL The yellow lab was a "Thank You!" for donating $200.00 to the MS Mudd Run. These were made for my daughter for her guest room which is done in the Native American theme.
