  1. Travis, I tried to upload a couple of files to my album and all I got was a blank screen when it was done....went to my album and the 2 files are not there......am I doing something wrong or are you still working on this part of the website?
  2. Thanks for all your hard work Travis! We all appreciate what you do to keep SSV running smoothly!!!
  3. Very nice work! Thanks for showing us.
  4. I love the bird house! Just too cute! Thanks for showing us.
  5. Those look great, Jim! Thanks for showing us and telling us where we could find the patterns.
  6. Great improvement, Steven! See, practice and perserverance has paid off! Nice work! I still have my first piece of work....it sits on a shelf above my workbench to remind what NOT to do! Keep up the great work.
  7. They look great! I had to look up the pattern to see where the wood snapped off....LOL! No one would have noticed! Nice work and thanks for showing us.
  8. I agree with Len and Merlin!
  9. Nicely done, Sheila! Reminds me of one my Grandmother had. My painting abilities are not very good but I know someone else who might give it a try!
  10. Thanks, Paul. I'm always looking for public domain clipart to make my patterns. This looks like a good one.
  11. I'm getting back in the shop now that summer is over in my part of the country. We were busy doing outdoor things, visiting with friends and relatives and went on a couple of trips. Great to be back in the shop....have to get rid of the cobwebs!!! I also miss Christina and her funny posts and great patterns. She did move to Texas and one of her last posts said she was looking forward to having her grandson for the year shortly after they moved. One of the members on Christina's forum got her phone number and called but only got to talk to Christina's husband but he said she was doing fine. So, where are the rest of the ladies? Let us hear that you're all still making sawdust.
  12. Those are really cute, Deb! Happy Easter!
  13. Very nice looking frame....perfect for the picture. I use both spiral and regular blades. The new spirals from Flying Dutchman are not as agressive as the regular spirals.....give them a try.....you'll be surprised. Sometimes if the project is too big then your only choice is spirals or bag the project.
  14. At one time I saw a blank wooden album at the craft store Michaels. It had a piano hinge on the front cover and 3 holes on the side for the screw pegs that the pages would fit in. It looked very easy to design. There are a couple of designs similar to it....one you can see in the June 2007 Creative Woodworks and Crafts: http://www.woodworksandcrafts.com/issue ... ne07.shtml Hope this helps you.
  15. Congratulations Scrolldad!
