  3. Hi Ron! Wecome to the Village. Nice to see you here!
  4. Hi Vanessa! Welcome to the Village. Sounds like you have a lot of experience scrolling so maybe you can pass on some tips you've learned. Check out the great classes Travis has offered us at the University. Right now we're learning some of the basics in a great program called Inkscape. Most of all just join in, post some of your work for us to see, grab a pattern or two and have fun.
  5. Nice job Ron! I like the way you did the background so they look like white tigers. Thanks for showing us.
  6. Very nice, greasemonkey! A great place to put your pilfered treasures! Arrrrg!

  8. Those turned out great! Thanks for showing us.
  9. Thanks for telling me how you made the rooster, fez. I'll look around our shop to see if we have any masonite so I can try your technique. I like the textured look.
  10. That turned out great, fez! I'm curious....it doesn't look like wood. If not, what is it and also what did you use for the background. I like it. Nice job.
  11. I hope you haven't damaged your hearing permanently Travis! My husband is a retired locomotive engineer so we know how excessive and continuous noise can damage your hearing. I keep a bag of ear plugs in a drawer next to my workbench and wear them when using any noisy equipment. I also like to use my husbands ear protection head set as it is more comfortable than the plugs. I agree with you Travis, everyone needs to wear the safety gear whether it is for your ears, eyes or lungs.
  12. Hi Hosie! I saw your deer on another forum but it deserved another look! You really did a nice job on it.
  13. Very nice Larry! Thanks for the peek!
  14. What a great photo of your boys, greasemonkey. They look like they had a lot of fun with the project. I hope you post pictures of the fire house banks. I was not aware of this program by Home Depot. I have a friend that has 4 little boys and I will certainly tell her about it. It sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
