  1. Hi Sue! Welcome to the Village. Nice to have you as a member.
  2. I enjoyed your work in progress on this rocker. I like the fact that you can take the rockers off as the child gets older. Nice job. Thanks for showing us.
  3. Your cross puzzles are really nice looking and will be a challenge for the younger children. Nice job.
  4. It sounds like your tension on the blade is too loose. Have you contacted Mike? He would know the answer. I did't think you could cut a nice tight puzzle like Carter's with a #3 blade.
  5. Hi Tonya! Nice to see you at the Village. I think you'll like it here. Lots of great people here and Travis has done a wonderful job of setting up some really great features. The pattern library is great. Easy to find what you're looking for without wasting a lot of time. I also like to spend time looking at all the great projects in the gallery.
  6. Looks great! Thanks for showing us.
  7. Very nice job on the cutting, Edward!
  8. Beautifully done Al!
  9. Nice work. I like the flower pot...I've never seen one like it before.
  10. Blame, there were some places on the portrait where I held my breath! When I cut a picture that has a lot of fragile places I always tape the pieces back in just to keep it stable and in one piece!
  11. Blame, thanks for the link. Kevin, you have a very impressive website. I enjoyed looking at all of your photo sculpting.
  12. I like it! Nice work!
  13. Very nice Clayton! Nice wood choices.
  14. Greg, nice work on all of those projects. I really like the face with the tear. Very different. The grain in the wood in the first one is just perfect. I like it much better than the second one. Isn't it interesting how the wood grain can very subtlely change the outcome of the piece. Thanks for showing us.
  15. Nicely done, Grumpy! Great looking frame, too.
  16. Very nice work!
  17. Nice job on the pattern and cutting, Vector.
  18. Hi Kevin, I have seen a couple of items you have described. They were by PapaJacs...you can find him at Scroll Saw Portraits....he does cut outs of his photos and has even made them in a 3-D diorama (sp?). I would love to see some of your work.
  19. Travis, I think what Ron would like to see is a section on the Board Index that says "Resources" with links to particular things like "How to make a frame" see video here: http://www.clubframeco.com/sm_video_finishing.html or something along that line. Thanks for pointing out the bookmarks, I was not aware of them and will make use of that feature in the future. Probably Ron and others don't know about it either and that is why the question about a resource section.
  20. Hi everyone. Here's what I've been doing lately! Our only grandchild graduated from High School so I did this cutting of her. She went to the community college her senior year as part of the running start program and earned college credits while also working 2 jobs! She will be continuing college in the fall. We're very proud of her. I have also been making keychains for friends and family using Steve Good's Keychain Pattern Program. He is extremely talented and generous to the scrollsaw community. Here are three of them in red acrylic. I have several more to do! I think they'll make great gifts. Thanks for looking
  21. Hi Donnie, glad you found your way to the village. I think you'll like it here. The layout is great and the people are very nice.
  22. Congratulations, Chris! I know you'll do an excellent job even if you do have to keep one eye on Vector! LOL
  23. That is so cute! I enjoyed watching your work in progress. Thanks for showing us.
  24. That is too funny, David! Love the pipe and smoke! Neat idea. It looks hard because its so small. I would need a BIG magnifying glass to do that! LOL
  25. Roger, you did a great job on Bill's (Dufferdad) pattern. Thanks for showing us.
