  7. Here's a place where my daughter's friend buys her jewelry making supplies. I've never used them but the prices look good. http://www.firemountaingems.com/
  8. Hi Mike! I got the keychain rings at our local craft store called Michael's. Came in a package of 12 for They also carry jewelry findings like the earring loops. You can probably find them at any of the craft stores like JoAnns or Craft Warehouse and I've heard of people in the midwest and east talk about a craft store called Hobby Lobby. The last keyrings I bought at Michael's were silver and were packaged by Tandy Leather. Hope that helps a bit.
  9. Word Art! Glue the coca cola bottle on a base on the left side.....add the words...like " Coke Happens". Make sure the base is long enought to fit the bottle and the words. Make the words pretty big!
  10. Hi Larry! Nice to see you at the Village!
  11. I've seen earrings made out of cedar because it is light weight.
  12. I actually have a workbench in the shop where I do my cutting and sanding. But I don't have a dust collector in the shop so I usually do the spray or wipe on finish in the garage on the sawhorse table! But if I use acrylic paints in my project I do it upstairs in my craft room on an 8 foot folding table. But when I put a portrait in its frame I cut the backing posterboard sheet and do the final placement of the cutting on the kitchen table! I didn't realize I used so many different places to do a project until I really thought about it!
  13. That's too bad Kardar! My walls are covered with my cuttings but I'm running out of shelf space for the other stuff so I also need to figure out a way to store it or give it away for gifts! Plastic totes are a good idea.
  14. Thats pretty cool, Travis. I saw something similar to this in "Jay Leno's Garage" .... he was using it to create some parts in plastic for an old car, then they made sure it fit properly in the car engine and sent it off to a tool & die person to make a real one! It was amazing because this thing scanned the original part from all sides and then made the plastic piece...you would have to watch the video to know what I'm talking about. Anyway, thanks for this video.

  17. Great job on those Ron. I like the look of the cheetah. You did a real nice job on the quote...I have to go real slow on letters so I don't mess up! Thanks for showing us.
  18. You got some real nice looking wood! Can't wait to see what you do with it. I don't live too far from them and they are just the nicest people. I love the way they show a picture of every piece of wood they have for sale.....you always know exactly what you're getting! I like to use the grain of the wood to enhance my cuttings. They like to receive a picture of any cuttings you do on their wood then they put it on their website. Here's one I did with spalted maple.
  19. I buy my blades from http://www.mikesworkshop.com/
