  1. Kate, you did a beautiful job on the cutting and painting of the stencil style pattern by Christina. Love the colors. Thanks for showing us.
  2. Nice sign, Larry. You did a fantastic job on it. The bobber making the ripples in the "water" was a stroke of genius by the designer. I love the base you put the on. The bark on the edge makes it look like the bottom of the river. Nice work. Thanks for showing us.
  3. Nice job on the framing of Hopalong! Did you use the special uv glass for framing magazines to reduce fading? What a nice heirloom. I was 3 when that was printed! LOL
  4. I like it, Vector! The bass segmentation is very similar to the eagle I just did by Neal Moore. You took it a step further and made the picture complete with the water, rocks, moss and plants. Nice work! Thanks for showing us.
  5. WOW! Greasemonkey, that is AWESOME! You really did a magnificent job! You have every reason to be proud of this piece, its beautiful. Your brother and his fiance will be speechless when they see it.

  16. Nice job Wade! That is one of the best dragons I've seen. Looks great as a clock.
  17. The tiger clock looks great, Edward. It must have been a little tricky to cut after downsizing it that much. Nice job.
  18. Very nice work, Larry. I just made my first frame also. I must have measured 5 times before cutting! Your corners look right on. Love the music hummingbird. Thanks for showing us.
  19. Very cool Kevin! Do you do a bevel cut on the picture to make it stand out? I like the way you did the base. Nice looking grandson, too!
  20. Very impressive work, Hosie! The roses are beautiful. Thanks for showing us your work.
  21. Thanks for the nice comments, Kevin. Actually, I was more worried about the frame than the eagle! Here's a link to the book by Neal Moore, the pattern designer. http://www.foxchapelpublishing.com/p-22 ... -wood.aspx His technique is pretty easy once you understand it. What is so different is the fact that he assembles all the pieces from the back using a hot glue gun. Thanks everyone for your comments. I appreciate them.
  22. I've added my latest project to my album. http://s697.photobucket.com/albums/vv340/shadylady0447/ The pattern is from a book by Neal Moore. This was also my very first frame! You can't imagine how excited I was about how well the frame turned out! LOL Let me know what you think!
