  10. Todd that came out great. Might want to try Tung oil as it will soak into the grain and seal it then you can topcoat with lacquer or polyurathane or shellac if you wished to. Thanks for sharing the bowl with us. What woods did you use? DW
  11. Kevin first of all how thick was the end grain lumber you were making the cutting board from? If it is less than an inch thick its going to have a good chance to warp. Most end grain cutting boards I see are are 2 -3 inches thick for stability. What you have with the end grain is a bunch of what are essentially straws and they can absorb moisture at different rates when the lumber is thin it tends to warp a bit. What did you use for a finish? DW

  13. Len figure out what you want then have someone on our side of the border drop ship it over to you. I have shiped to Canada, a 1 kilo box - using USPS International First Class for around $17 USD. You can put a whole lot of ArtDeco paint bottle is a box and keep it under 1 kilo ( 2.2 Lbs ). Just a thought. DW

  25. Very nicely done. Skill is Skill rather it is with a Scroll Saw or a Table Saw and a Router. This display is a bit different than others I have seen. I really like that. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW
