  12. David welcome to the Village! There are two questions that you need to answer about your potential saw. One - Will the saw be new or used? Two - Are you mechanically able to support a used saw? Three - How much money are you willing to spend on the saw? There are about 3 major price ranges for scroll saws $99 - $225, $300 - $600, $1000+ A very large group here use the DW788 Dewalt, I have one and it has given me good service. Personally that is what I would choose, you can always upgrade to an Excalibur saw at a later time. Which ever saw you decide to get we have a great group of folks here willing to answer your questions. Again welcome to the Village. DW
  13. Great idea Roly. A good place to look to for orders perhaps might be a retirement home or some place like that. Wonder if you gave it a track to run on that limited the movement to perhaps as much as what the lower leg would move in a seated position if that would be a good addition? Anyway love it Roly.   21. Very nicely done Kevin. Those of us that have glasses know this problem. I often think it is hazy or foggy out only to find that I have a layer of saw dust on my lenses:) Thanks for sharing these with us. DW
