  2. Those look great. Heres to a good show coming up. Thanks for sharing these with us. DW
  3. Bob this is going to depend upon the thickness of the wood and how far you want the piglets to stick out. 3 degrees is normal for about a 5/16 or there about pop out. If you are using a saw were the table tilts instead of the head you have to remember tilting to the left generally makes the cut go away from you and tilting to the right the opposite. One can always create a guide by taking a board cutting out a shape with the table tilted to the left and then doing the same with the table tilted to the right then you will have a clear indication of what is going to happen. 5. Very nicely done. Glad you introduced a new generation into the fine art of scrolling. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW
  6. Making money scrolling is difficult. You can fairly easily make the money you spend to get supplies, pay for events and things like this however it is difficult for a single individual to make a living doing it. There is generally too much to do and too little time to do it. Like you mentioned having a hobby that pays for itself is great. It is tough to find a good market that is stable and will allow you to sell enough to make the rent etc. One can never tell though. It can help to pay the rent, etc. Glad to hear that you are doing well and having fun doing it. DW

  13. Merlin, I do not charge enough for them to make a living but the sales pays for the materials with a little profit. I have been selling them at the rate of about 3 or 4 a week since Christmas last year. Since 2012 when I first started selling them I have sold something in the range of 150 of them. I try to have at least one or two at my shows and I generally sell them fairly quickly. They have been selling even over in your part of the world. I sent a Piggy Bank to Victoria. Australia early last month and 2 to Singapore right before Christmas. DW

  23. Very nicely done Kevin. That writing looks like either Arabic or Thai. If it is Arabic it means 35 if it's Thai is means Almost 3 Years. I could be totally off base here as I do not speak either well enough ( Other than to get a beer, find the restroom and get my face slapped ) or write them either for that matter. Thanks for sharing this with us. Please let us know what it turns out to be DW
