  3. Kevin nice job my friend. It is time to be nice to the trees and the environment though. You might want to make a tracing template for both the big and the small Ankh's. That way you would not have to print out a pattern each time you wanted to make one just trace it on to your blank. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing these with us. DW
  4. As a Veteran myself, what is not to like. Great job on that. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW

  20. Dick I really like that and as for the finish I wonder if one of the drying oils such as Tung or BLO might do the trick. Since you have many layers and levels on that clock it would be easy to apply one of the oils which would soak into the woods and then harden no need to worry about brush strokes etc. Just an idea. Thanks for sharing the clock with us, will be interested in hearing what you finally come up with in the way of the finish. DW
  21. Very very nicely done. I like that a lot. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW
  22. In about a month it will be my parents 55th anniversary so I made them this. Cut from 3/4 bloodwood and sealed with tung oil and top coated with semi gloss lacquer. The plaquard is 18 in. long by 5 in. wide. DW
  23. Jordan that came out very nicely. One of the things you might try is to put a thin ( 1/2 inch or so wide frame around it made from some thing light in color ) Thanks for sharing this with us. DW
  24. Very nicely done Jack. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW
  25. Nicely done Marg. Thanks for sharing this with us. Question for you, do you have a bandsaw big enough to resaw that ply to a thinner thickness? Or perhaps a tablesaw? Just a thought DW
